Early Life and Education Veer Savarkar was born in an intellectual family that laid stress on education and at a very young age, Savarkar was a bright child. He joined the Ferguson College in Pune where he had an exposure to revolutionary ideas. Savarkar was an excellent scholar and this earned him a scholarship to pursue his studies in England at the Gray’s Inn. He was in England exposed to the broader scope of Indian nationalism that also aggravated his desire to free India.
