The total distance can be considered from 300 km (190 miles) up to 550 km (340 miles) & depends on your point of origin. 340 km is the distance of 340 km Shimla to Delhi by car, for example. It takes 7 to 9 hour by car for 340 kilometres. Manali is situated 530 km from Delhi. It takes about 11 to 14 hours to reach Manali using road transport. The distance from Delhi to Dharamshala by Road is about 470 km. The distance from Kasauli to Delhi is about 290 kilometres. The shorter route to Kalpa is the Himachal route.
