Anandpur Sahib Holy city of Anand in Punjab
Located in the peaceful foothills of the Shivlik mountain in Punjab, Anandpur Sahib is not a city – it is a pilgrimage, a history lesson and a spiritual experience at a time. Known as “Bliss of City”, Anandpur Sahib holds a precious place in Sikh history and culture.
Historical significance In 1665, the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, was established by Anandpur Sahib, where Guru Gobind Singh ji established the basis of Khalsa Panth on Vaisakhi in 1699. It was the birth of Khalsa, which was the body of dedicated Sikhs, which defines the identity of the Sikh till date.

- Takht Shri Kesgarh Sahib, one of the five couples of Sikhism (Authority seats), is located in the centre of the city of Gurudwara. This is the place where Khalsa was born, and was a site for people requiring spiritual insights.
Heritage-e-khalsa museum This state -of -the -art architectural surprise has interactive galleries and multimedia displays, rich history, and a legacy of Sikhism. It is educationally and emotionally charged.
Gurudwara sis ganj sahib. This holy site remembers the highest sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji for religious freedom. It is a place of deep reverence and reflection.
Naina Devi Temple Located at a distance of just a small drive, the temple attracts both Sikh and Hindu devotees and offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills.
